This piece follows the emotional arc of being trapped in quarantine. I’m sure we will never forget being stuck in shoe-box apartments in NYC and having to endure the repeated process of being stuck inside, unable to move freely. Rebellion captures the emotional dichotomy between feeling anxious and claustrophobic but also the idea of knowing we must do this for the health of others. The mood fluctuates between passages of hopeful space but quickly returns to relentless, furious fast music.
